Throughout his career, Scott has been committed to helping students by supporting excellent teaching, developing leaders, and building systems that foster growth and opportunity for all learners. He believes that education is fundamentally about serving others, building strong relationships, supporting families, and creating environments where students, staff, and families can thrive. In his role, Scott works closely with school and district leaders to advance curriculum, instruction, assessment, and innovation across the district.
He plays a key role in guiding the district’s instructional direction and ensuring Forest Hills delivers a robust curriculum that not only meets, but exceeds, state requirements, even as the legislative landscape governing curriculum continues to evolve. His work ensures that policy changes become opportunities to strengthen what happens in classrooms, keeping the focus squarely on students and their growth. Scott is passionate about providing students with enriched, hands-on experiences that move learning from knowledge to application — and about ensuring that every student has access to programs that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help them discover their own path.
