DELVE DEEPER INTO STEM

The Forest Hills Public Schools Health Careers Academy at Central High School is a career-focused pathway for students interested in medicine, health sciences, and healthcare professions. Through a partnership with Ferris State University, students earn college credit, gain hands-on clinical experience, and explore real healthcare careers—all while still in high school.

WHY AP CAPSTONE DIPLOMA STEM?

Our STEM Program is built in partnership with Western Michigan University (WMU), allowing students to earn significant college credit while still in high school. Unlike traditional elective paths, the STEM Academy utilizes a cohort model where students learn together in a specialized three-hour block of courses.
