Spanish and Mandarin Chinese Immersion programs begin in kindergarten, and the enrollment process starts earlier than many families expect. If you’re interested in enrolling your child, planning ahead is essential.
Due to the popularity of our immersion programs, we encourage families to explore their options early, attend informational events, and complete the enrollment process as soon as enrollment opens.

Families who currently have enrolled immersion students, or have immersion alumni siblings, are eligible for the sibling registration. Sibling registration begins on Nov. 24, 2026, and ends January 5th, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (noon). To register this way, families must bring the following to Ada Vista or Meadow Brook Elementary:
New student lottery submission begins January 5, 2027, and ends on February 9, 2027. Interested FHPS resident families must bring the following information to Ada Vista or Meadow Brook Elementary:
The computer-generated, random lottery will be conducted at the FHPS administration office on February 12, 2027. Acceptance and waitlist informational letters will be sent to families on February 18, 2027.
If the pre-enrollment form is not submitted by the deadline, late submissions will be added to the end of the waiting list.
