Andrew Ley has served Forest Hills Public Schools since 2022, most recently as the district’s JK-12 math Multi-Tiered System of Supports instructional coach, where he has built relationships across all grade levels, modeled lessons, and collaborated with principals and teachers to support tiered instruction for students in need of enrichment and intervention. He has also helped lead district-wide vertical teams in math, science, and social studies, and has supported new teachers through coaching conversations and coaching cycles. Before FHPS, he spent 10 years as a classroom teacher at Marshall Elementary School in Byron Center and coached high school baseball. His career also includes classroom experience at an environmental science magnet school in Ogden, Utah. Mr. Ley earned both his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Michigan State University in teaching and curriculum and elementary education and social studies, respectively.
