Hello Huskies! Bill Cataldo is the proud principal of Northern Trails. He has been in education for twenty years and has worked in three districts: Chicago Public Schools, Cedar Springs Public Schools, and Forest Hills Public Schools. Throughout his career, he has served in a wide range of roles, including teacher of all subjects, science teacher, instructional coach, middle school athletic director, dean of students, and principal, across multiple age levels such as a K–8 building, 6–8 level, alternative high school, K–8 online, and a 5/6 building. These diverse experiences have strengthened his understanding of how students learn, the importance of community in that learning, and how to think big picture while supporting the current needs of students and staff.
Outside of school, he loves spending time with his wife and two daughters. Together, they enjoy the outdoors, sports, and any vacations they can take as a family.
