Jeff Simon is the proud principal of Central Middle School. With experience spanning classroom teaching, instructional coaching, and administration, he is grateful for the opportunity to lead and support our students, staff, and families.
For nearly a decade, Simon has served the Forest Hills community as both a principal and an assistant principal across multiple grade levels. Prior to holding his current role as building principal, he has been the assistant principal at CMS, assistant principal at Eastern High School, principal of Goodwillie Environmental School, and interim principal of Ada Vista Elementary. Combined with an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education from Central Michigan University, a master’s degrees in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an additional master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Concorida, he brings both practical classroom experience and a deep understanding of effective school leadership to guide CMS toward its vision of every student, every day, being seen, heard, and cared for. These diverse experiences at all levels of the K-12 landscape have given Simon a clear understanding of the skills students bring to CMS and the preparation they need for high school and beyond.
Simon and his wife have lived in Forest Hills throughout his administrative career, and their children all attend FHPS. His family spends much of their time connecting with friends and family and walking to the local ice cream shop. Forest Hills is their home, and Simon is deeply committed to helping our school and community continue to thrive. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
