Nathan Peltz is the proud principal of Pine Ridge Elementary School. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1999 with a degree in Special Education, with an emphasis in working with emotionally impaired and cognitively impaired students, as well as Elementary Education. Over the years, Nathan has had the privilege of working with students in all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade. He taught for 18 years before becoming an administrator, beginning his career at Grandville High School in a cognitively impaired classroom, then teaching in a cognitively impaired 4thβ6th grade classroom at Cummings Elementary School, and later as a fourth grade teacher at Cummings Elementary in Grandville.
In 2010, Peltz earned his degree in administrative leadership, and in 2017, became an assistant principal at Century Park Learning Center and Grand View Elementary School. In 2021, he had the honor to serve as principal of Pine Ridge Elementary. Peltz is passionate about supporting the whole child, fostering a love of learning, and building strong partnerships with families and the community. There is truly nothing better than having the opportunity to serve in the school where you live!
