Lisa Roedel proudly serves as the Principal of Knapp Forest Elementary School. With over a two decades of experience as both a classroom teacher and elementary principal, Lisa is a relationship-centered leader who is deeply committed to student growth, staff collaboration, and building strong school-family partnerships.
Lisa believes that every child deserves a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where they feel known, valued, and challenged. She encourages high-quality instruction, social-emotional learning, and data-informed practices to ensure all students are supported and successful. Known for her approachable leadership style, she values listening, shared decision-making, and celebrating growth, both big and small.
Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Michigan and is passionate about fostering a school culture rooted in belonging, high expectations, and continuous improvement. She is honored to work alongside the dedicated staff, students, and families of Knapp Forest Elementary.
